Dear Sir, Wake Up
31st October 2024Dear Sir
Please wake up
You've been gone long enough
Bring to your eyes a light of sunrays
Glimmer of passion sparkling in the wind
Swept you up from under
Till you fell onto your feet
Wake up mister, don't be so difficult
Strap on your torn leather boots
Wear those iconic jeans
That shirt that's weathered from the world
Which you hold dear from your teens
Light up the world a little more
We can use it you know.
Let music ring in your face
Let the windows break with your gaze
Show fierceness in your walk
Feel the base when you talk
Tear up that old dusty road with your stride
Wake up mister, you have nothing to hide.
